Still getting a lot of junk stuff loading when ever I open GTTalk, go to a different post or area.  Flashes by so fast, lower left corner of the screen so only catch bits and pieces.  Stuff from Yahoo, Google antilitics (sp), some or other handshake stuff.  Goes on and on.

Have run CCleaner, Anti-virus, Anti Malware and they all come up clean.

Anyone else notice this?  I usually just watch and click on the X as soon as the GTTalk location is up.

I closed out G.T.T., Closed foxfire, went back to the desktop. Reopened foxfire, reopened G.T.T. signed in and re opened this thread. Reopening everything took less time than typing this response.  Don

I too use an ad blocker.  Most of this stuff seems to be coming from/through Google and/or Yahoo.  Also have Chrome installed but don't know why.  I never use it.  If I knew how to stop it and read what all was loading, or downloading might help.

At one time I had an anti virus program and Norton security's both installed and each program thought the other was suspicious so they would spend time checking each other out before allowing any thing to proceed. Very time consuming.  Don

I just caught two items it was hung up on:   [1] Transfer data from us.u.openx.net    [2]  Waiting for syn.pulseradivs.com

Neither of these come up as a web site.  It runs through a bunch of other stuff first, then it hung up on these two.  What the heck is going on ? ?

OK, I did get a site openx.net to come up.  Did not go into it but for the home page but looks to me like an ad exchange site.  Probably trying to load up a bunch of Ad pop up crap on my computer.  Must have been originated by the site owners or their ads ? ?

It's probably all ad related! I don't see any of those, so no issues here!

If you copy and paste, Transfer data from us.u.openx.net to the google search bar and hit enter you will find suggestions for removal. I don't have this problem so I have never tried any of the procedures listed. Don

I think that is the answer. Put cookies on to track a guy and then throw ads at him for things he is interested in.

I finally got it stopped.  Dumped the ad ware protection and installed a different one and that took care of it.
Thanks for all the help guys.

Now, someone tell me how to get my email msg back to the window type area rather than full screen.  When I click on "REPLY" to reply to a message to goes to full screen and I cannot figure out how to get it back.  Their help is about useless.  Running Thunderbird.
