hello all just checking with those that know more than me about tractor price's I just passed up a 42" craftsman with the 17 hp kohler it ran good the hydrostatic worked the top off the deck was pretty rust pitted leaking some around the filter the body was a little rusty and the hood was kinda faded the deck had a belt but it wouldn't engage did I miss a good deal for $200. ?

$200 is a smokin' deal!


I got a decent craftsman from harbour metals for $60. Almost a turn key unit aside from the ignition going dead...

If it says Craftsman on the side of the hood,  its only worth about 3 days worth of bellybutton lint.

 

I'd say it was $201 too high.

I got this one from Harbour Metals as well for $60. I just wanted the wheel weights and hubcaps that were on it. Did not expect it to run

Yes its a salvage yard and they tend to move saleable items to a area I call "The Mall"  We don't currently have a "pick a part" but owner has quite a collection of cars in area of yard and does allow picking on occasion, just not set up yet.

Ya it's my favourite mall. I made my find into that "racing mower" on kijiji back in January.
