Not a big breakfast. Just a snack. That’s all a fella needs. I use some beef pieces or pork pieces, maybe 1/4 of hamburger. Get the fire goin in the stove. Put about 8 or 9 pieces on the ash shovel and cook away. And that’s it. I have a cup of coffee with it. Some tasty. No spices of any kind.

That is lookin' good Noel !!  I like my beef rare to medium rare, crisped up with  a goodly amount of fat, and a shaker of salt nearby doesn't hurt. No need for other seasonings, I want to taste the meat.  Back in the day when we butchered late in the fall, we'd have the big wood stove in the shop going.  As I'd get to a particularly nice bit of trim on the carcass I'd set it on top of the stove for a minute or two to warm up.  My Olde Deere finally got to the point where he's pretend not to notice me chomping away while I was skinning a beef out.  For the first couple of years he'd gag a bit, but he got over it,  :rolling: :rolling: :rolling:

Excuse me while I gag a bit. That diet is not for me.  :(

Boy that looks good. You really got my juices flowing with that last photo. Medium well and pop it in your mouth. MMMMMMMM good.  :D
