Dowagiac, MI

There's a Bush Hog JBII tractor on ebay for start bid of $250, which is a plenty fair price. Seller says 18hp Briggs, but it isn't. It's a 12hp cast iron Briggs. Comes with snow blade. Hydro with hydraulic lift. I have three JBI's, but no JBII's. Shame it's too far from me. Not sure how he knows the year, as Bush Hog destroyed all production records. Could be dialed in with the Briggs numbers.

Actually, my nephew lives just less than 30 miles from this JB, but there's still a matter of paying for it, plus getting it down here. When he visits, he drives a small car for mileage.

Paypal the tractor and give your nephew the difference in gas money, or enough to rent a small rental trailer one way. Problem Solved. It fits in the bed of a truck also doesn't it? Sometime this fall I am going to Bad Axe, Michigan, in a pickup. (I hope to anyways)

That is not good, mabey that's a sign you need to cut back on the number of projects you have.

I am certain someone with the time and money will buy it up and do it up right.

If time & money ever free up, there will always be more JB's popping up. Really though, I have two custom JBI's, and one opriginal JBI already. The JBII is almost identical except for shorter wheelbase, smaller rims/tires, and 2hp less. I'd really rather hold out for a different model.

Daniel, Is that the right paint scheme, or is it supposed to be painted like yours?

Your Dad will help swap the driving George!
And Brian, someone took liberties on the paint. They are OE red & black, white rims.
