Hello all, new to the forum and I have some questions on were to find parts for my gt14 garden tractor, with I acquired a year or so. It is running now with non-original parts but I'd to redo it in the near future and need a hood, grill, gas tank headlights, headlight panel, headlight brackets and wireing, and also the steering wheel badge any help finding these would be appreciated. Maybe some one here has one they'll part out. Thanks

  Welcome to the forum! That sounds like a Jacobsen unit. I have some Ford spare parts, but not Jake variety. I think the hood may work, but would need a pic of yours to make sure.

Welcome.....Sounds to me like you need a lot of parts. I would be looking for either a parts machine or another tractor and use yours for parts. The body work on the Fords are quite a bit different, all the mechanical parts should be the same. Post some pics so we can see what you have.

:welcometogttalk: & :wewantpics:  It will help us determine what you have and need. You can look to our sponsors for the parts or a second option would be to find a parts tractor if you can find one in your area cheap enough.  Good luck and keep us posted.

Here she is felles, I know just about everything from a Ford will fit besides the hood and grill theyre different. I have searched multiple times with no results locally for a parts machine. My understanding is shes a pretty rare beast from what I've heard. Thanks5bf089ce7f228e770ae5ded3c735133e.jpg

On the LH side right above the front axle should be a plate with the model #. IF this was a closed side, I have the hood and side panels for the Ford version. That fuel tank is not original.  Where are you at?

That gas tank does look interesting, since that is a common item to rust on these....Is it plastic and what is it from?

I believe this is the Parts Manual for this. That would be an open side model 53300.

The tank was on it when I got it, it has an IH logo on it so I assume it's from a cub. I believe the homelites were different hood too but feel free to post pics anyway, you never know. I am located in North Central PA.
