This is what happens when you rush. And misjudge your speed and distance from an object. Darn-it! :mad2:

I was having cracks show up in a plastic hood on my Ranch King from bumping things. Made a bumper for it and now it bumps first. Got to get out the plastic epoxy and glue the cracks back together one of these days.

Kenny he doesn't need a bumper just a better excuse , here's some , 1. It was parked under and tree and large branch fell on it . 2 . Look what my ( your choice wife , son , daughter ), did ! 2. I'm never letting my neighbor borrow my tractor again . 4. I went in for lunch and now look !!!

I feel your pain man! Can that be repaired or will you be buying a new hood $$. I hate it when I run into stuff. For instance I mangled the front bumper of my Forester with the loader bucket edge on the 2320. No damage to the bucket. $$ to repair the front bumper.

That is a bummer. I am sure the whole hood to replace won't be cheap. Hopefully you have enough of the pieces to use some fiberglass and epoxy to repair it. I think we all have accidents at one time or another.

Sucks that that happened. I don't think you need a bumper because the damage is so far up, you need something in between a tall brush guard and a full exoskeleton. LOL
No worries, I too have screwed up some tractors, mostly mechanical, not cosmetic, well, I don't count the scratches. Mabey I should quit using the hoods as workbenches lol.

Thanks for all the sentiment. I hit the swingset in the town park I mow. I am going to try and find a 2nd hand hood if I could. After 4 years of using, this happens. Oh well, a battle scar, I suppose.

Whats the hood made from ? Maybe you could epoxy it back , from underneath . By the way , my son's excuse when he got done mowing and the 318's hood was not in the same location as when he start he said " it was like that when I started ":wallbanging:
