Hi, looking for a regulator/rectifier for a GT14 Gear with the Kohler engine. Model 931021 serial number 000384.

The part I am coming up with is Ariens 03110900. Is that the only part available or does it cross reference with another manufacturer?

I googled it and they are right proud of that thing. I am pretty sure that regulator was used on other brands, just not sure where. Hopefully Bob can cross it for you.

As long as your system has two AC+ terminals and then the other going to battery or ammeter, then you can use a generic one. Charging system doesn't care what it looks like, just as long as it has the 2-AC and B+ terminals.

I had one similar to yours on my Sears with a Tecumseh, I switched over to these generic ones and it's fine. I did run a  separate little ground wire form the mounted bolt just to make sure I had good ground and I had to cut off my factory terminals and crimp on spade connectors.

I do a search on ebay for an Onan voltage regulator, just make sure I get one rated for 20amps.

New OEM one will be $140.36 I can also get you a aftermarket one for $89.50. Both the OEM and aftermarket one will look different but bolts up and plugs in the same. I will pm you our number if you want to call.

Most electrical parts like that, Ariens Deere, wheel horse etc don't make themselves anyhow, they get them from a supplier, rebox them and Jack the price for the privilege....
