Finally picked up my Bolens today. It turned out to be a 1253. I still hace to get the mowing deck and snowblower. It needs to be started still to see how it runs. A few cosmetics too: missing the headlights and the seat needs to be reupolstered or replaced. But hey for free I'm not complaining. Will post pictures soon. Anyone have lights or a seat available please let me know. Thanks, Dave

They only made this one year from info I found. I could be wrong. I believe it should be the tan/beige color. This sat in a garage for 30 yrs. Any one who knows correct color please let me know so I can put back to it's former glory.

I think they are supposed to be on the off white side of white. We painted our Bolens 1053 white though. It is in the home page section of the site under restorations. They did only make them for one year.
