I have a guy wanting to trade me three walk behinds. One a empire with a plow and a disk not running but looks complete, not it a bolens with plow, disk, cultivator, and sickel mower it is apart and in need of a cam shaft, last it a non running db with hood and sickel mower. Idk much about an empire or the bolens but I'm figuring the lot would be in the 500$ range would be a above average price. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Wil

it depends on condition and what they go for on your area, where I am you can't give these old walk behinds away

I traded an old Craftsman lawn tractor with a blown engine for a Bolens walk behind with a sickle and a basket case engine. The guy even delivered it to get the lawn tractor. IMO the walk behinds aren't worth much. I paid $50 for a Simplicity without engine but had tiller, sickle, cultivator, and snowplow attachments. I had a new 4 hp B&S that fit right on it. Good Luck, Rick

In this neck of the woods nobody wants to walk behind.  They all want to ride and want hydro's.

I guess it doesn't mader know. I had a farm tractor for sale after I told him I'd need boot between them he wasn't interested. I guess the guy though a couple old walkers was worth 2g lol

Daniel, what part of TN are you located in. I'm in North MS and looking for DB stuff. Can't find any around here.
