Here in Indiana, with heavy grass, the 50" doesn't work. The 46", although not as tall or deep, has a much wider discharge area. It will really sling the grass out. The 50"s discarge is choked down terribly, it clogs and clumps. If you every had both decks upside down side by side the difference is striking. I have a 332 and I was thrilled it came with the 46 instead of the 50. I realize it's an opinion but truly the 46 performs.

The 50" is better setup for a bagger or trac vac.

If you ever want to burn a ridiculous amount of fuel, put the speed up pulley on the 50 deck, then attach a powerflo with the mc cart, and go mow really lush grass. The last time that happened, Exxon stock went up 8%.

No........Decided to stick with what I have for now......One of those deals more of want than need......Made for interesting conversation though.
