Well, the old cow was doing good, then after all these days of extreme temps, she went down for the last time. With this crazy heat, she just couldn't cope after all she'd been through. We did all we could, but just wasn't enough. After all the extra work & expense, it was all in vain. Sometimes you win, but many times you lose. :wallbanging::wallbanging::wallbanging::wallbanging:

Sorry to hear that Daniel. You did what you could to save her and the loss always hurts. Nature's not always kind.

Dan, There are things in Gods plan we can not change. Any time I lost a cow or a calf it was a sad time. I some time wonder if the big Guy doesn't have Heaven for all of his creators.

Ducky,Well said and I agree, but it still doesn't ease the pain of loosing a piece of your production unit. Just knowing that GOD is in control, and you can't change the outcome is how I survive everyday.

Dan, The :wewantpics: does not apply to uterus's or stillborns!

:puke2:

Best of luck and hope she pulls through. I sure don't miss my days of milking cows!

Of course, that all depends who's uterus you are posting a picture of.
