Picked up this Forklift mounted to the tractor from a old dealership near me.

They used it for many years in the 60's until they could get a actual forklift to unload trucks.

B-1 Forklift mounted on a 1959 Simplicity 700 Wonderboy.

I got it running but it needs carb work as well as governor/throttle springs.

More to come as I get it cleaned up!

Since I have the app, I didn't see these were PB pics! It is better to upload straight to the forum as PB has screwed pics up before.

Very interesting more pictures please. This is a factory built unit? How is it powered? Looks like it is easy to remove? Did you get a manual? So many questions it"s like you are just teasing us.   Don

Nice score. A forklift sure is handy for moving things around.  I think this is the second B-1 forklift someone on here has gotten.  The first I remember seeing is here http://gardentractor...rklift-install/

I use that baby all the time.  There probably aren't too many weeks that go by, that it doesn't get fired up.  This coming summer at the Portage Garden Daze, we are planning the 2nd annual Allis Forklift Reunion, and hope to have a handful of these on display together.  I think currently, we know of about 2 dozen that have turned up.  Based on serial numbers so far, it looks like a couple hundred were built in the 63-64 time frame.
