If the 2418 was made for 6 years and I've been told that they k361 is made only one year what other 18 did they use

Hi Bazil, the only OEM 18 hp engine used in Power kings was the Kohler K361 available from 1978 thur 1984, The only 16 hp engine was the B&S 32xxxx series cast iron engine also first available in 1978 don't know when they stopped offering the 16HP Briggs

Oh the k361 was built for that least those years and it was used in other GT's also one is the Allis Chalmers 718
