Hi All,

I have seen some variale speed massey with the Cat 0 3pt hitch. Are these hitches manual lift? Are they hydraulic lift on Hydro tractors? Can the hitch be moved from a manual to a hydro?

Thanks in advance

The 3 point was only offered for the 14/16. They were hydro lift. The 10/12 hydro and variable speed both used sleeve hitches. Most were manual lift. There was an optional hydro lift for them but is rare as hens teeth.

That looks like the back of a MF10 or MF12 but the 3 point hitch is home made for it.

Looks like it's controlled manually with the hand lift on the left side.

Was thinking the same thing, home made, they done a good job,   looks like it will work

The lower arms are suppose to be attached to the axle housing on a Massey

That makes sense....after looking at the photos of this one and comparing to other fectory units, it does look to be home made, but well done.

Thanks for the info.

Have to agree with DH1, that Armstrong lift will make a man out of ya

Here are pictures of the factory set up on the MF 14 or 16

Here is the hitch minus the lift cylinder

here is lift cylinder attached

Note : that's a lock out strap used when you have a 3 pt. hitch and mower deck

Have to lock one out in order to use the other due to they use the same hydraulic system to lift and lower the attachment

Its one or the other, never both
