:help:Can anyone tell me some info on a little tractor by the name of GRANT or GRANTS. I am looking at one to buy but want to know if it is something of a find or just another fly by night tractor off the wall brand. Thanks for the help.

Grants was a department store chain of sorts. Kinda like Wards or Sears, but not as well known. I wonder who built them for Grants? Growing up, we had a Grants freezer, it was made by WC Woods I think. I bet there aren't too many of them left, Grants has been gone for over 30 years.

Thanks guys, I am going to take a look at it. The man says it runs great and the trans works very well and tight. He does not have a mower deck for it. I am a wheel horse fan myself but this is something i never seen before. I will keep you posted.

Hello all, went to look at the grants and did not buy it. It was a nice little tractor but i could not bring myself to buy it. I have enough on my plate right now. It did run and drive but you need to start it with starting fluid to get it running. Maybe another time.
