My david Bradley won't go out of gear. Anyone have any ideas please

"Out of gear" is neutral so if it doesn't "go" thats a good thing.  :poke:

If you'd like to give us some usable information about what model, what year, what configuration you have,  someone here will be able to help.  David Bradley made many models over the years.

Since you posted this on the walk behind forum,  I'd guess there is no neutral in your tranny and that your problem is a stuck clutch. 

I've not taken one of those apart in 20+ years but they can be a real booger.  Time/rust can fuse the halves together causing your problem.
