Anyone have a gas tank for a Springfield, Model 65 LT-525. A shot in the dark for sure but I gotta try.

Thanks.

Larry

Post a pic of it, I have a Toro Suburban that I took the motor from, if it is the same, I should have a good tank still on it.

If my post above doesn't make sense, the Toro Suburban was one of the first lawn tractors Toro sold after they bought Springfield and it is nearly identical to the late Springfields, or so it seems.

Thanks guys. I'm not good with the picture thing but I will have my son put up a couple over the weekend.

The tank is 4" tall, 9.5" wide and 5" deep. The kicker is, it has 4 rev nuts in the top corners to hold it to the hood and the gas neck is offset to the rear but still center of the ends.

Again, thanks and I will get those pictures up. This is a little more promising than I had expected.

He changed gears and plays with big tractors now.

I will get over to my barn and check it out by midweek.  If it is a match, I will pull it off and shoot you a picture to be sure.
