Putting my H14 back together I find I have a hose coming from the side of the block under the carb.  I assume it is a crankcase breather, but I cannot see where to connect the other end.  There is about 8" of hose but I see now where to attach it.

Ideas?

Its been along time but I think that that one connects to the air cleanner. Look up the manual. Good Luck, Rick

If that is a hh140 Tecumseh it very well may be the same as the hh120. The hose coming out of the breather box covering the valve train on my hh120's just hangs straight down, but they are only about 4 inches long.

That line goes to the fuel pump. Here is a picture. Sorry for the bad picture but it's dark out. The lower line goes to the crank case the upper is your fuel line in.

Agreed with Rainier......it connects to the fuel pump. The pulses from the crank case power the fuel pump.

Great, but I don't believe I have a fuel pump.  Fuel line connected directly to carb from tank.

Well this tractor doesn't have a pump.  The motor is a replacement short block (SBH)  I think this hose just vented into the atmosphere as there is no connection anywhere.  Guess I'll tap it into the air cleaner (please don't tell the EPA.)
