hello everyone I am Danny from  Tennessee I enjoy tinkering around with small tractors this part of it is new to me . I will try not to make to many mistakes my question is I found a lawn tractor by the name of J B Hunter have any of you guys ever seen or heard of one? I would appreicate any help & looking forward to trying to be a help to someone . Oh yeah i will send pictures when iget them took & learn how to send them.

It is actually a MTD 960, 860, or 760 (gear drive models) depending on the hp rating.

J B Hunter was a department store closed long ago

Tractor branded for them

thank you james that eases my mind now I know what I have it is powered  by a 12hp cast iron  briggs seems to be a well built tractor thanks again will talk more later supper is ready
