There is something nearby that came up this week , DB Handiman , It Has Tiller,Blower, Blade , Cultivator , Rotary mower -looks to be in good shape . I was wondering what the value might be on this set-up if anyone has an idea . I am kinda a sucker for DB stuff and it is nice to get all of this as one package.

I have a neighbor that recently passed away who had one of those.... he dug it out of the shed about 10 years ago and asked me to get it running for him which I did... didn't take much as I remember,  I did as he asked and he stuck it right back in the shed, hasn't seen the light of day since I got it running.  As I remember though, it did smoke a good bit, I think his was from 1959.

Thanks, I did go out and look at it . It seems to be in great shape and complete -original engine that does run on ether .

He will sell it all for $500 , I just think that is a bit high for this (though I'd love to have it) and am having trouble pulling the trigger.

I'd really like to hear what you all think of this 'value wise'? I hate to pay too much because I am a sucker for David Bradley.

It would make a great package to add to my DB trailer when I get it ready for the tractor shows.

There is a lot worse ways to spend $500. That rotary mower would be an interest gatherer all painted and hooked up at a show.

Would make a nice DB exhibit, putting the blower and push blade to work would justify the buy, price would be high in my area, showed the pics to my GF(she rebuilt the engine in her 51 A/C CA for a collage automotive credit lol) and she said $300 and read my mind

Will it be easier for you to find another $500.00, or another outfit comparable to this one?
