just looked at Jacks,  they have a up to and after 6000 serial, I looked up just a few specific parts and they are different between the up to and after... like the cable that spins the chute.... but if I can come up with something better to do that job then that will be moot I think...  my thoughts are to find a different chute that has the holes in it for a sprocket, then some how adapt a motor to it.

I see the "025" has the clutch,  but I was looking at the "009" the "010" and they look largely the same as each other,  I looked at both the up to and after the serial number break on the "010" and there were minor differences, lots of parts were the same between them.

like with the tractors  for example whats the difference between the  2 different GT19s,    or the 3 different S16s?

Yeah but they also do the same thing within a given model number with serial number break points.
