My 1655 runs and drives good. Problem is, after running it for a while, it doesn't have enough hydraulic power to lift anything very heavy(like a brinley double disc). Still has pretty good hydrostatic power, but loses lift power. What's needed to remedy? Where can a pump rebuild kit be found? Has anyone contacted sundstrand directly?

One of my 55 series did the same, lost almost all lift power when even a little warmed up, but hydro still pulled the tractor and implements just fine.  Mine was just an o-ring between the front main body of the hydro pump (section with rock shaft) and the center section that divides it from the motor section of the hydro.  A nickel part, but a lot of work to put it in!

I hate when that's how it goes.
