photo.JPG I am new to the forum, today I picked up my first green tractor , a 1973 John Deere 112 with a snow blower and mower deck! I have owned Craftsman, Bolens and an IH cub 55 (which I regret everyday getting rid of it) but this is my first green one.

Welcome from a fellow western New Yorker, nice 112, they are a very sturdy tractor. I've owned a 140, 216 and a 318 in the past, still have a 445 that I really like.

Is the lift lever all the way forward in the pic, or did you get one with electric or hydraulic lift?

Welcome aboard!  This tractor was for sale on Buffalo Craigslist in Hamburg if I remember correctly.

jpswift1, this one was in Orchard Park but from comments I read on this forum there was a 110 for sale in Hamburg last month I think.

Either way, it's good to see more local folks here on the site.  Thanks.  If I see anything else you might be interested in, I'll send you a message.
