Pulled the flywheel to replace the second crank seal. Found two loose magnets..

I know it was better to find them now instead of when they migrated someplace and caused destruction, but man, this project just keeps snowballing!

Have you looked into Belzona?  I have used this in my line of work and i will swear by it. We have taken bearings off of shafts that were chewed up put Belzona on it turn it down and never a problem. Some of the best two part epoxy ever made. look it up just a suggestion.

Well. After a few weeks of having the tractor on the back burner, I'm about ready for reassembly.

I made a full length key (still need to even out the transition between the full and half thickness regions).

Also reattached the flywheel magnets with epoxy. The remainder of my hardware and other random components have arrived and most of my painting is done. Hope to make some good progress on the evenings this week! 530cad64725093208332103c22fff5ca.jpg4404b71b69f8e2ba78ddb9671c98b0b0.jpgb57ce454f3b03dcf9a1c790767c75bb7.jpgc079312e1b065da883326e705d9cc7a7.jpg984ea9f6fbf2aa7e05eb9da11b23b35f.jpg
