Monday about 8pm I logged on my KIJIJI site and found an Massey MF14 $400. with pictures, tractor looked good all there and taken care of. Pic showed bare tractor, had foot board ext., mower deck, no wheel weights or 3point lift.
Ad was 1hr old when I saw it.

Sent off an Email followed by phone call and talked to someone about it, he said it was a good running tractor with 2 mower decks, 1 good, 1 so so. Told him I'd buy it, $400. no problem, but can't get there till Friday, he's 2 1/2 hrs away from me. Fri is a holiday.

Found out yesterday when he called that he didn't own the tractor was listing it for a friend, said he would get the owner to call me and that there was a lot of interest in it.

Got home from work today and saw the add pulled, called the guy and he said his friend sold it last night.

Would of been nice to get this one, deals like this you got to be fast.
The 1 that got away.

Bummer. It is hard to do business through third party individuals.

Yeah, but if the third party is given the task of selling it, then his word should be worth something.

Thats not right. Sorry to hear that Doug.
