So if you didn’t see my other post my dad gave me his old Bolen 1254 with a mower deck and tiller. Well it needs to be reworked. I have the diagram for this. I was wondering what gauge of wire (14,16,)?

I use 16 gauge when I make a wiring hardness for my Deere (200 series), but I use 14 gauge for the amp wire ( from the voltage regular to switch.

Using 14 gauge wire for the whole wiring harness is not a bad idea.

If you need the packard type 56 connectors you can get them at a auto parts store

Thank you I debated between the two gauges. Sometimes you need a little conformation.

It sure would be nice if they would put the amp draw of each circuit on the schematic. It would make determining  the wire sizes much easier. If possible go no smaller than the factory wire sizes.

And this is why I want to rewire it.
