Whats the difference between 2 stroke carbs and 4 stroke carbs? I got a couple of 2 stroke carbs laying around that look a lot different from others I have. They don't seem to have any float bowl on them. I got them in a bunch of motorcycle stuff.

The carbs without a float bowl most likely are diaphragm carbs that work from crankcase pulse pressure. Either engine could use either style carb as long as the spacing and connections are right. An example would be the Briggs pulse-jet carb. It doesn't have the float bowl and is still used on a 4 stoke engine. Early 2 strokes used float bowl carbs also.
