My wife whom I loved dearly, died suddenly on November 1 of a heart attack. Yesterday the 8th would have been our 42 anniversary, she was my best friend, my advisor, my caretaker. I haven’t been posting because I haven’t had the heart. I can’t see the future without her, all I’ve done and planned was for us, not me. This house got a lot bigger and more lonely. My kids and grandsons have been very good to me, but the emptiness is overwhelming. I’m not looking for sympathy from the forum, just explaining why I’ve been away, and tell everyone what a special person my wife was.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.  I too would be lost without my best friend...my wife, my life.  I know you have a very rough road ahead and I wish you peace in your heart.  Take care of yourself my friend.

First let me offer my deepest sympathy on your loss. I also lost my lovely wife not long after our 42nd wedding anniversary. I wish that I could offer some words of encouragement, but even after 2 1/2 years I still feel the emptiness you are feeling. Someone so special cannot be replaced. Just  keep moving forward and enjoy your children and grand kids every day. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
