316 stainless is equal to grade 5 bolts.

Some anti-seize might help!

Lance the bolts out! Just when you thought you had enough tools in the shop. :D

I've heard that in PA it is illegal to leave your "unused" hitch in place.

Same here but its rarely enforced. Reason illegal is it poses a danger to folks walking too darn close to your truck. If they are that close they are likely up to no good! Also if you leave it in the hitch can get seriously rusted into place and nothing short of getting hitch cherry red will free it up. I learned that when I was in Iowa and went to flip hitch on my pickup.

That hitch looks very sturdy  :thumbs:   Anti-seize that was noted for the bolts but if none around plain old grease wouldn't hurt .
