This is the 3rd G11 I've seen for sale in the PNW in the last month or so. Is this machine being sold by a member here?
I picked up a G11 last year (which is in pretty rough shape) to refurbish just because I was under the impression they were very rare. Maybe they're not so rare after all.

Might want to let the guy know they are not as rare as he thinks!

Whether the G11 is rare or not can be debated forever.

What we DO know that no G11 with a 4-digit serial number has been seen.

In fact the highest I know of is in the 008xx range.  That would seem to indicate that there weren't that many built compared to the other models.

Mine poor old used and abused G11 was 0100813. Loved that little 11hp Briggs engine. Ran Smooth and had a nice torque for a aluminum block, cast iron bore flat head briggs points engine. I did convert mine to magnetron ignition. I hate points lol.

The G11 is probably the hardest to find of the tubeframe line but there are some out there that surfaced over the last 5 years or so.

Its pretty much a conversation piece to talk about or have in your collection if your a collector the only really special thing was the decals other than that its pretty much a G10 with fancy decals so it really is not feasible to spend the extra $$ if you plan on using it to work as you can find a G10 everywhere for less than these go for.

Normally these just appeal to the small collector market here on the forums
