So I found this out at an old farmstead we own it was in an old chicken coop. it has a Clinton two stroke engine witch seemed froze up but I put a little force on the blade side and it turned not a full rotation but it moved im not really interested in the deck but I want it see what I can do with the engine. Is this mower rare? how much is it worth? Is it worth repairing?  also nearby I found a old washing machine it didn't look like a Maytag but I found a Maytag engine muffler nearby but sadly no engine

I don't think there is a lot of call for the engine and not real valuable. Most likely out of the 50s or early 60s. It might not take a lot to get going. It would be a good learning tool. Looks like you will need to find a pull rope cup unless you can locate the original recoil. I'd bet it's worth more than the engine if it's the one I'm thinking. Schnake recoil? ?

I looked the engine up and I didn't see any ones with recoil they all had the rap rope start. yeah maybe ill try to get it running if I can get some projects finished maybe when I get my John Deere B going I can. I really have never worked on a two stroke before ive just watched my brother work on motorcycles so yeah this will be a learning experience.
