It seems to be a used chainsaw, with a typo in the price. Probably meant $160 obo.

I hope it's a typo, that perticular model is very common around here, somehow I think he's serious though, a lot of people think stuff is worth a fortune around here just because it's old.

Good deal if it comes with a lifetime supply of firewood.

I'm thinking he is crazy and asking $1600 since he also put that price in the description

I Guess he thinks the rusty bar is worth $1599

Looks like it should be a free, and then may still pass on it

If it does run $160 wouldn't be bad, I have multiple old saws and know what parts cost and what they are like to work on, 1600 is stupid, there are a lot of those saws around still.

Not sure it is worth $16.00!

Non-runners sell in the $25-$50 range around here as people do collect them, I think I paid around $35 for the last one I bought.

Just an old powersaw, nothin special. If it runs id offer the guy $50 if I were desperate for a powersaw, and couldn't borrow beg or steal one.

Don't get me wrong, to the right person that saw could be worth more than I'd pay for it. Kinda like me and garden tractors. I willingly overpaid for things.

But its pre 1990 so that instantly ups the value to roughly gold weight.
