I delt with him just a couple months ago and was able to get some parts I needed for my 1655. He’s very nice to deal with and very helpful. It looks like he has the valve you need listed on eBay. Sorry for not posting the link here but it’s easy to find.

There is a member here sell parts off one. Jpswft I believe. He has posts in this forum about his 1855. You might check with him first.

Guys, thank you all for the kind words.  I really appreciate it.  And I see you didn't have a plastic cover for the hydraulic control valve.  I have your control valve boxed up and ready to go out tomorrow, but before I send it I will throw in the plastic cover that goes over the control valve for free.  I have an extra and I'm glad you can use it and everybody is always so nice to me on here, it's just a little way of returning the favor to the garden tractor community.  Again, thanks for the kind words, everybody!

Glad to help you out!  What comes around goes around, the only thing I ask is that you please do a good deed to someone in the future, pay it forward  .  Thank you.

So if I could continue this..

The normal hydraulics for the factory 3 pt (1855) provides a down pressure, but the mechanics of the 3 pt linkage prevents the downward pressure?

Why would you not want down pressure on the 3 pt?

2ed - can a 3rd spool be added to make it look factory?

3rd - can the lift for the deck be used to lift a blower?

Lots of things to thing about waiting for spring.

Dan

Dan,

I can answer one of your questions.  A third spool can be added simply by adding the third spool and longer bolts to hold them all together, it's very easy and it's just how they did it from the factory from what I've read.  I have one with the factory third spool, and that's just how it looks to me.

Down pressure on a 3pt pushes the implement down BUT that in turn raises the rear tires, which loses all traction.  The implement needs to "float" to maintain traction.  I do think the blowers use linkage arms to the mid cylinder to raise & lower it.  And as JP said, a 3rd spool can be added.  They were a factory option.
