I just painted mine with John Deere Yeller. Seemed close to me and it was good enough for who it was for!

:shoot2:

Yeah, I may just have to find the closest paint I can if worst comes to worst.

I think I'd use a yellow that does not have the word "deere" in it. Bolens and Deere dont get along LMAO :rofl2:

I have a yellow '67 model with 10 horse thats pretty nice, plus a pile of parts that used to be a 7 horse EK. I don't have any pics of the '67 EK because it is burried in one of the sheds.

I have the mower deck only - looks just like your avitar. I used to use it as a butt buggy at shows because it steers super easy without any attachments hanging on the front. Once the mower is mounted its no fun to drive and you sure don't want to try to mow a sidehill with one.
DieselJon wants to come over and play tractors sometime and if he does we'll get it dug out for some pics. He has a strong back.

All I got was brains and looks! :D

If you have a paint chip , old fender , maybe even a color brochure . There are automotive paint suppliers or a large body shop that can scan it and will mix paint for you . They might be able to mix what ever thinners , hardens things like that it needs for you so wouldn't have to purchase more then you'll need . Just hope they don't tell you " oh that's stock John Deere Yellow ":mecry:

I am planning on getting this custom mixed. Problem is most of the paint is faded and some parts have been repainted at some point.
I did get my green deck custom mixed and it turned out great.

Now that you mentioned the brochure, I bet this is a perfect match! :dancingbanana:
