That pic doesn't supersize when ya click it! Kinda looks like a seat pan cushion/bumper, but for what I do not know.

I was thinking engine mount bushing as well. Could be for a Wheel horse "C" series, the later style, with a Kohler engine and the black & red hood.

Sorry can't resist it is called a snubber part number 1715467 for a bolens.There is also a newer number but cant remember it.

Well, I was hoping this would last a day or two, But

We have a WINNER, Member "bhts" guessed correctly with "Snubber" . I am told by the submitter, "Bolens 1000" That this a rubber piece that goes under the seat on a Bolens Tractor..
