Sirs I recently acquired a 1618 with 48" deck and a front-end loader. This is the first fiberglass model I have ever owned. While cleaning up the garden last week the, something n the clutch assembly snapped and now the clutch will not release. I have the seat and fenders off but need to know, is there a way to pull the driveshaft from between the engine and the clutch assembly without pulling the engine or dash assembly? Any help would be appreciated. thanks
need information on 1618 clutch

Hi Jwilly, welcome to the group, yes the DS will come out without removing the engine, sorry to hear about the clutch problem that is an expensive repair on those PK's Mission Mfg is where you'll need to go for a clutch assy. Good luck

KENNYP AND MNGB THANKS MISSION IS ONLY 5 MILES DOWN THE ROAD FOM ME. REALLY APPRECIATE THE SERVICE MANUAL DOWNLOAD. I HAVE PREVIOUSLY OWNED A 1614 AND A JIM DANDY YEARS AGO AND DIDNT KNOW WHAT I HAD. I SOLD AND SERVICED 300-400-AND 500 SERIES WHEEL HORSES IN THE NINETIES. STILL HAVE A 416H AND A 520H. PICKED UP THIS 1618 FOR THE FRONT-END LOADER AND STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS ALREADY. OH WELL. IT IS WHAT IT IS. THANKS AGAIN.
