I have a corded Milwaukee Band-saw that I thought would be more useful if it were setup up in a stand so it can be used as a vertical band-saw.  So as most do I did an internet search and found a good build on You Tube.  It's called the quikee 3, the reason I chose this stand is the fact that it can be removed from the stand very quickly to be use as a regular band saw.  Super happy with the stand and the band saw has now become one of my favorite tools.

The first thing to build it the spacer under the handle to that the band saw can be secured to the stand by simply threading a screw into it.  I used three pieces of 3/8" flat bar, staggered them to fit in the notches of the band-saw and tacked them together.  Then drilled and taped for 5/16" and place a hole thru the top so a longer handle bolt can be put threw it.

the base is simply a flat piece of steel with 1/2" key stock welded were the bottom of the handle sits.

Than made an adjustable table with on pipe that fits into another.

There is also a dowel to hole the trigger down that jut wedges in the handle.  A switch box is to be built.20171018_182300.jpg

If you have one of these band-saws this stand is worth building to get yourself a nice little vertical band-saw.

Sorry about the pictures?
