Anyone know what the flat plug is for sticking out of the back of the tractor ?

It has a jumper between the two and if I remove it the tractor will not start ? maby a safety switch ?

I wonder if it was to a seat safety switch......I have 3 LGTs and none of them have that....I think, will have to look.

Thats what Im thinking it has a craftsman seat on it but I don't see where it came to the seat anywhere unless it was mounted in the seat itself

Got me stumped. Have to think it was for a seat switch.

Guess you could put a meter on the wires to find out where they come from/go to. Is it long enough to reach the seat?

One of my 125s has a neutral safety switch on the 2 speed shifter....the other does not. My 100 has no safety switches at all that I know of.......will have to have a closer look to see if I have a wire bypassed like that.

It's the Neutral safety switch. The starter will not turn unless there is continuity from one side to the other. The jumper in the picture provides the continuity. My only caution is to make sure you don't start it unless you are sitting on the tractor in case it is in gear and wants to go on a spin by itself.
