A freind of mine (Larry), bought this tractor a few weeks ago. A nicely redone 14 h.p. tractor. I took pictures of it finally last Monday.

In the mean time he acquired another MTD.  This one was a 16 h.p. unit and not quite as pretty.  While my brother and I were checking it out Larry made a deal my brother, who now owns the red tractor.

The red MTD has a three point hitch and a rear blade.  Also the original hood which had been replaced was available.

Nice find. Does Larry or your brother now own the red 990?

1973 to 1975 16hp with scissors style lift carriage. Looks to be well cared for.
