Finally had some ROTOTILLER company at a show besides R&T.

Is that tiller drive a flex shaft ?

Here is a photo of the flexible drive shaft.  The larger housing to the right bolts to the rear drawbar and the tiller housing bolts to it.  The clutch for the tractor incorporates a 2 groove sheave and that is where the flex drive shaft is driven from.  Some photos I have seen also have the same clutch included in the flex drive shaft.  This unit does have a disengage lever on the rear housing.
