My dad picked this up a few years ago.  Started using it and the drag link broke,  Its different than my Early 80's GTII with dual headlights, But it looks more like a GT6000.  The drag link has multiple bends in it.  It also needs the bushings for the steering gear.  I cant find any info on it to order parts.  The tag is missing.  Can someone give me a close models number that might show what drag link and parts to get.  It steers half as far one was as the other way.

Post Pics of the tractor and we should be able to ID it. If you can find a tag on the engine it will help to date the tractor. Post a pic of that as well.

You can still get most of the parts for older sears/craftsman tractors on SearsPartsDirect if you can figure out it's model number.

  • KennyP said thank you

You should NEVER try to "use" a Crapsman mower.  They aren't designed to take "use".

Best of luck in your search!
