I am looking for a restored Sears Custom 10LX. It would be nice (but not necessary) if it had a 3 point hitch, rear scraper blade and wheel weights.

I can put you in touch with a gentleman who has a very nice XL10 with a Sears three point hitch.  I have a rear blade and weights.

Hi,

Thanks for contacting me.
The tractor looks good. I am interested.
Where is it located?

It is in west central Indiana.  The nearest town would be West Lebanon.

He doesn't do computers and has spotty cell phone coverage. He's requesting that initial contact go through me.

If you are interested he is asking $500 with the three point hitch.   If you want more pictures I'll go back and get this one out of the corner and take more pictures.   Rick

Thanks, but I am afraid that shipping would be twice the price of the tractor. I really need some one in the Southeast.

leave it to Rick, if he don't know where to find it it probably doesn't exist!

as far as "twice as much to ship"..... I know 2 ways around that....

1/ I doubt it would cost you that much to come after it.... can you say ROAD TRIP?

or 2/ the GT talk Express, put up a post in the "Transportation/Networking" topic and see if any of the members can help you out or at least get it closer so make option 1 a shorter road trip.... that looks like a super clean machine, price doesn't seem too awful bad,  probably not a lot of those exact machines left any more,  go for it...
