The painful realization that a $500 club breaks as easy as a $5 one. And it could have financed fixing a tractor.

Golf is an exacting game when addressing the ball

And can be very frustrating if I recall

The swing must be true or the driver will fail

To launch the ball and instead in the turf itself impale

Leaving the ball supported on the tee standing tall

or

Hitting a golf ball can leave a nasty sting

And cause a harmony of words to sing

From your lips as the results you view and feel

Of the fairway ground contacting your driver steel

Not to mention the pain in the wallet it will bring

or

"I needed a three iron" I said to my friend

"To tee off can you me yours lend"?

He said "Sure" and pulled it out of his bag

"I'll hit it straight and true" I said trying not to brag

I modified his club and it now has a slightly new bend

or

Has "Ground Effects" added this new golf club style

Guaranteed to drive the ball that extra mile

One swing with them is usually all that you get

Then you buy a new one as you replace it in your set

Good job you have the Pro Shop number on your speed dial

Stay at a minimum, a mile away if i try to golf. Who knows how far it will go or in what direction.
