Got some work done on the Bolens crawler

I got a little ways the other day started tearing the large frame I am useing to put the crawler drive unit under apart. Got the engine and the Eaton 12 I will not be useing out of it, I was happy to have the loader working to do that part. Still need to get the crawler running to make shore every thing works befor it gets torn down to.

Still also trying to find a good name for it when its done. I was thinking 1455 something.

Is that a Davis/Case trencher that you are converting? I have a Davis that I thought of making a dover out of myself.

Yes it is, I saved it out of the junkyard about 3 month ago.

I will have to completely rebuild the tracks if I do mine, they are shot...That 2 cyl. Wis. is a big engine, but I bet it's hard on gas, LOL

If the twin is a TJD or THD, you'd be surprised how miserly they are on fuel!

I really haven't checked it out too much other then making sure it's not stuck. I need to check and see what it is, it's very BIG !!

Mine has a AGND single in it. I plan on not useing it but instead use the engine in the tractor.
Its going to be simple set up 8 bolts and hydro lines and the Bolens part comes off.
Something like John Deere did with Lindeman.
