This is Chuck and I'm new to the forum.   Presently I'm servicing my Craftsman tractor model 917.273220 transaxle.  I've order the filter and reviewed a post elsewhere that they used 10w40 for oil.  About 2 quarts is used.  I downloaded a manual from this site but I want to be sure 210-3010L is the correct transaxle.  It says use 10w40 or synthetic 15w50.  Can anyone shed light on my service.  I couldn't properly identify the transaxle...has a sticker but it's confusing.  Any help appreciated....tks....

 Welcome to the forum! According to the owners manual, this should be a Hydro Gear 222-3010L transaxle and a BU-10L-122 pump. Just looked up the Service manual for those #'s and it agrees with your posting.
