I'm in the market for a small mowing tractor, all I can think of is an international cub, I'd like to have something bigger that my current 48 inch cut. So what other models should I be looking at don't want anything newer.

Farmall cubs are nice little tractors, were you thinking mid mount or rear mount mower

Mid mount for sure. If I wanted a rear mount I'd have an old Ford already.

I wouldn't have an IH Cub for mowing personally and I am a hardcore IH guy.  They are just too under powered to run a deck in anything to thick.  We have one with a 59" David Bradley and one with a 42" Kub Klipper and both have a rough time in thick grass on hills. I would look for an A in a Farmall or one of it's predecessor's if it was me. (Super A, 100, 130, 140) or similar like an Allis B if something older like that's what your leaning towards.

I'll be mowing all flat ground and nothing thick so I'm not so sure a cub would be too small, I agree that an a might be something to look at
