Nice find! Looks to be in decent shape! Lots of nice sheet metal there if nothing else. Can't beat the price either!

i dont understand how this stuff ends up setting like they do. the typical American is a wasteful slob. you should see all of the tractors on the "hill" where i work part time. i should take pictures sometime. its disturbing how much somone was willing to spend on a piece of equipment only to let it sit the in weeds. its like this, oh the tractor is broke. lets just park it in the weeds and go to home depot and buy the new shiny piece of tin that will be falling apart in less than 10 years. i dont get it. i have already saved 3 tractors from the "weeds"

Nice find, hopefully you find the engine is in great shape also.

A lot of people are not mechanically inclined and refuse to take stuff to a shop. Instead when they have a problem they park it in frustration with the mentality of "Oh I will get to it sometime". Then they never do and buy another one. Things are changing some since our economy is crap. People are keeping their used stuff going for a lot longer now a days.

That's for sure. I went down and bought it Friday for $25. Figured it covered his cost of getting it to his house.
