Type of oil in tillers

What type of oil goes in the tiller case

Most use 80 - 90W Gear Oil.  Some say if bushing are used rather then bearings a certain type of oil should be avoided ?

I think it is GL5 rated oils that should be avoided. GL5 lubricants attack yellow metal, Gilson tillers have a worm drive similar to a Boles Tube frame transmission.

Gilson calls for SAE 140 heavy duty oil.
