Figure it a right of passage - my young son want's to make up a funky looking tractor.

First the wheels:

Now some paint (don't look too close):

Nice looking sears looks like the tires on back alittle big and the tires on front small.

Cool looking tractor, but I would do something to get the engine setting level. All the oil will be at the front.

Cool, let him do his thing! There was a kid here in Newton who's dad had a mower shop. With Knoxville Speedway just 20 miles south, the kid was Sprint Car Crazy! Was kind of a grin to watch him mowing with a Sprint Car Wing on his mower and a small one on the front for downforce.

Thanks folks. He's 12 - not much I can tell him.
The tractor is low budget, so he's encouraged to do whatever he wants.

Will look into standing up the motor. Great suggestion.

This is being setup for pulling. The look is just for fun.

I know what you mean about the age thing. Since this will be a puller, can you make a motor mount that will have the engine more towards level in 'pulling stance'? Don't want it leaning too far back under full power either.

Put the front grill and hood back on.

He's happy with the way it turned out.

Will be stopping progress for a while - a bunch of other projects are higher priority.

Thanks for the many replies and positive feedback.
