Good evening/or morning, depending what side of the pond you are!
I'm looking for some info on the voltage regulator fitted to an electric start 1960 ride a matic, any idea's where i might get one or a suitable alternative, at the minute i don't even know what make it should be!
Thanks, Kevin

Sorry I cant help you with what voltage regulator was used.
I know we have a few members with ride-a-matics here that should be able to tell you.

I believe they used Delco Remy regulators..

1957 thru 1961 Ride-A-Matics used Bolens # 1708287 regulator which was a Delco-Remy # 1118988.

This same regulator was also used on most tube-frame Bolens tractors which were equipped with B&S or Wisconsin motors.

This regulator was commonly used on other brands of tractors, as well.

A Google search for "1118988 voltage regulator" turned up many sources.
